Today I'm going to share with you the tarot and oracle cards I own to date. When I first started out in tarot and buying my cards online I had to learn the hard way that there are many fakes out there. Me being new to the tarot world I had no idea.
After I started looking on youtube I came across a video about fake tarot cards. There I learned I had so many fakes. As time goes on I have been blessed to be able to replace a lot of my fakes with real decks.
Some, but very few I still have yet to get to do so. I will be sharing the links to the real decks so you don't have to take the chance I did. I'm not judging anyone at all if you would rather buy the knock-off version. That is totally up to you.
I'm not doing tarot to make money so when I did find out some of mine was fake I was ok with it, but at the same time, I felt like it really takes from the artist's pocket. So after getting a feel for the fake decks I would buy the real ones that I really loved.

Celestial Tarot- My boyfriend bought this deck for me from Five Below for $5. It was my first tarot deck. I'm not going to lie this deck isn't the best deck for beginners as there isn't much imagery detail to go off. These cards I have found have been the best size out of all my tarot cards. They feel great in the hands and shuffle amazing.
Rider Waite- There are so many versions of this tarot deck. The version I bought of this deck was a knockoff. I had no idea at the time. I paid $8 or $9 for this small deck. This is the second tarot deck I bought to start off with to begin my journey in tarot. Even though this deck isn't the real one I enjoyed the cards being small. They fit in my hands & shuffle really nicely. They are not huge as the real version.
The Modern Witch Tarot- This deck is a very popular tarot deck and #1 best seller on Amazon for tarot. I love this deck. It's so colorful and feels good in the hands. The cards are big and I'm not going to lie a bit hard to shuffle with my little hands. The deck is very feminine. So if that's not what you are looking for this deck isn't for you. When I first bought this deck on eBay It was a used deck for $10. I thought it was the real deck, but it was the fake one. This is a deck I definitely made sure I bought the real version. I bought my deck at Books-A-Million in person for $25 to make sure I was getting the real version the next go around.
The Enchanted Tarot- My boyfriend bought me this deck yesterday at Books-A-Million for $10. The set he got was just the cards only and not the 25 Aniverseray deck. The deck I have didn't come with a guidebook. I played with this deck for the first time last night. I'm not sure how I feel about this deck just yet. The cards are huge in height. They are hard to shuffle with small hands, but once you can get them to shuffle they do shuffle really smooth. This set doesn't have cups. For the cups, it's called the heart of. This deck also replaces the pages with princesses.
The Light Seer Tarot- This deck is also one of my favorite decks. The images are so beautiful with a lot of detail and story in the image. Really easy to read intuitively. The only downfall with this deck is the card stock quality. It is the images that sold it for me. I bought this deck from Hay House when it was on sale for $15. I paid $10 for this deck with a coupon code. If you choose this deck the author also has a free printable tarot journal that goes along with this deck on their site HERE.
Guardian Angel Tarot- This deck is no longer available for the real version and if you can manage to get your hands on the real version it is over $200. So this deck is one that I didn't mind buying a knock-off of. This deck is a vintage theme deck with some angels and the meaning of the cards already written on them. You can download a digital guide that has more detailed meanings for each card.
The Zenned Out Journey Tarot- I came across Cassie Uhl's blog a while back while looking for some free printables for tarot junkis like myself. I looked around her site and saw she had a few tarot decks that I really liked, but later forgot all about. A few weeks back I was shopping in Books-A-Million and came across some of her books. I picked up her book The Zenned Out Guide to Understanding Tarot for $10.00. I was flipping through it and that is when I realized I have been on the author of the book blog before. Inside the book, she uses her deck the zenned-out journey tarot deck. As I took my time looking through each of the cards in this book I knew I had to have this deck. The colors are beautiful, she uses people of all colors, ages, and shapes. It's also one of those decks that is great for beginners also. The guide that comes with it is short, but also great for doing self readings. I would recommend you get Cassie's book The Zenned Out Guide to Understanding Tarot for deeper meaning and reversed meanings also. This book comes with a lot of new things for beginners like myself to learn about tarot and will open new doors when reading to other people. The zenned out guide to understanding tarot- My boyfriend bought me this one at Books-A-Million on the bargain deals table for $8. The only thing that I found to be different is the cover of the book. The book I have is published by Sweet Water Press. The origin book is $18, but I found it on Amazon for $16. If you have a Books-A-Million near you check and see if yours has it on the bargain deals table. Those books are still new books, but cheaper.
